![]() I haven't tested it and don't expect that it would work, though you can probably work something out with the second controller by binding player 2's controls to different keyboard buttons and making sure they're set up correctly in the game options. One important thing to note if you do this, set the d-pad and face buttons to 4-way rather than 8, so you don't trigger two directions at once on accident (though setting them to 8-way would actually let you press corner jumps with just the D-pad, if you prefer it that way).Īlso use Danny Mode for the control scheme (and reset the controls to defaults if you've changed them at all - or just map your controller accordingly).Īs far as doing multiplayer this way. Unfortunately since I had mapped the Y button to an arrow key, Steam wouldn't let me Export the configuration since "Y" was now pressing Up rather than triggering the Export option, so I don't have an option of sharing the configuration with the community via Steam's interfaces until I figure that out, you'll have to build your own. I mapped the lane swap to the two triggers (easier to press than the bumpers, in my opinion), Space to Left Bumper, Enter to Right Bumper (and Start, giving two options for advancing the menus), Back to Escape, and so on. I mapped the D-pad and the face buttons to WASD and the Arrow Keys, respectively. I was, however, able to use said controller by building a custom controller configuration for the game, setting the controller to emulate a keyboard. ![]() (Side note: The game does recognize my controller when used at the actual PC.) I tried playing it via the Steam Link last night, and it wouldn't recognize the controller (wired 360 controller plugged into the Steam Link) no matter what I did.
